Andrew McAfee is an American researcher and thought leader in the fields of technology, innovation, and the digital economy. He is the co-director of the MIT Initiative on the Digital Economy (IDE) and a principal research scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). McAfee earned his Ph.D. in Management from Harvard University and has focused much of his career on studying the impact of digital technologies, such as artificial intelligence and automation, on business, labor, and society.
