Delvitech Raises $40M Series B to Expand AI-Driven Inspection Solutions

Delvitech was founded in 2018 by Roberto Gatti. It is a deeptech dedicated to using AI for automated inspection in surface mount technology (SMT) of printed circuit boards, performing solder paste inspection (SPI) and general part placement inspection (AOI), in order to detect defects or false calls (for example, in car, airplane, or medical device parts).

Its two main products are Horus, a platform specializing in SPI and AOI that combines both functions using AI, and Aton, a platform specializing in AOI for large dimension and high complexity three-dimensional analysis PCBs.

With this funding, they expect to accelerate and support their R&D development process in cameras and optical heads, in addition to seeking to expand their platform to semiconductors, this along with the creation of a manufacturing plant for their platforms in India by the year 2026.
