New York-based AI startup Inkeep has raised $13 million in Seed funding led by Khosla Ventures, GreatPoint Ventures, and Y Combinator, with participation from Myelin VC, Coho VC, and notable angel investors including Guillermo Rauch (Vercel CEO), Dan Pinto (Fingerprint CEO), Colin Sidoti (Clerk CEO), Rowan Brewer (Paymentology Founder), and Eli Brown (Guilded Founder), as the company scales its platform for creating AI-powered customer experience agents.

Co-founded by CEO Nick Gomez and CTO Robert Tran, both MIT graduates, Inkeep addresses the challenge of deploying AI agents across enterprise workflows by offering both no-code visual builders and traditional coding approaches. The platform enables technical and non-technical teams to transform static documentation into conversational, source-citing AI assistants.

Inkeep's platform uses retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to pull information from company documentation, while aiming to reduce hallucination risks through providing cited responses. Their AI agents are able to handle customer inquiries, assist support teams with ticket responses, identify content gaps, and automatically convert resolved tickets into FAQ entries to improve knowledge bases.

The company already serves notable customers including Anthropic, Midjourney, Pinecone, and Postman, demonstrating traction across the developer tools and AI infrastructure sectors. As of today, key differentiators include automatic escalation from AI to human support, multi-agent capabilities for specialized business functions, and enterprise-grade security features including SOC 2 compliance.
