German AI startup Makersite has secured €60 million in Series B funding co-led by Lightrock and Partech, with participation from SE Ventures, Planet A Ventures, Hitachi Ventures, KOMPAS VC, and Translink Capital, bringing total funding to €78.3 million as the Stuttgart-based company scales its platform for product sustainability and compliance management.

Founded in 2018, Makersite creates digital twins of products that model every component and process throughout the product lifecycle. The platform uses AI and graph technology to provide real-time visibility into environmental, financial, compliance, and supply chain impacts by collecting data from over 140 external sources and mapping dependencies deep into supply chains.

Central to Makersite's breakthrough is their automated analytics approach that generates compliance reports, sustainability assessments, and carbon footprint calculations in minutes rather than months. The platform enables scenario analysis where users can instantly compare the impact of material swaps or supplier changes on cost, emissions, and regulatory compliance

Today, the platform serves manufacturers across automotive, electronics, chemicals, and consumer goods sectors seeking to meet tightening ESG requirements and Net Zero goals. Makersite's technology helps companies optimize product sustainability during the design process while maintaining cost efficiency and regulatory compliance throughout complex global supply chains. With growing regulatory pressure around sustainability reporting and supply chain transparency, Makersite's lifecycle intelligence addresses critical market needs.
