Regulations such as the EUDR, CSRD, CSDDD are being introduced at a rapid pace. However, most companies still rely on siloed systems and manual data searches across thousands of suppliers, which makes it difficult to obtain audit-ready data on products, emissions and human rights risks across complex value chains.
Osapiens, founded in Mannheim in 2018 by Alberto Zamora, Matthias Jungblut, Stefan Wawrzinek and Jörg Bernauer, provides a single platform that unifies supply chain transparency, ESG compliance and operational efficiency. The “osapiens HUB” brings together transparency tools for ESG and financial reporting, supply chain and risk oversight, and regulatory compliance, as well as efficiency tools that coordinate supplier collaboration, maintenance, support and distribution. The platform's AI-powered software automates data collection, workflows, maintenance and tracking, and provides insights to help companies optimise processes from farm and factory to point of sale.
Osapiens recently raised approximately $100 million in Series C funding, led by Decarbonisation Partners - a joint venture between BlackRock and Temasek - along with existing investors, including Goldman Sachs Alternatives and Armira Growth. The new capital will fuel global expansion and accelerate product innovation.
