Recently, the Washington-based startup Sublime Security raised $150M in a Series C led by Georgian, with participation from Avenir, 01A, Jon Oberheide, and Nicole Perlroth, alongside existing investors Index Ventures, IVP, Citi Ventures, and Slow Ventures.

Founded in 2019 by Josh Kamdjou and Ian Thiel, Sublime Security specializes in email protection: it uses AI agents to detect and block phishing/BEC/malware and automates triage (prioritization) and response across different work environments.

They offer multiple products that cover different aspects of email security. The main ones are Autonomous Security Analyst (ASA) and Autonomous Detection Engineer (ADÉ), which work together to analyze the various forms of email-borne attacks.

Following the funding, they aim to apply agentic principles across all their platforms and accelerate their products to expand globally.
