
Turkish generative AI startup Skymod Technology has raised $200,000 in pre-seed funding as the İzmir-based company scales its enterprise-focused AI platform that enables organizations to build secure, domain-specific AI agents and train large language models with their own data.
Founded in November 2023 at İzmir Bilimpark by co-founders Gizem Argunşah (CMO) and M. Oltan Dere (CEO), Skymod Technology focuses on how enterprises adopt artificial intelligence by addressing key challenges in AI implementation, especially data security, prompt engineering, and integration difficulties.
The company's flagship product, SkyStudio, serves as a generative AI platform that allows organizations to train large language models using proprietary data and create custom AI assistants tailored to specific business needs while eliminating the need for extensive coding knowledge. Skymod's within SkyStudio they also offer conversational AI, AI Worker for automated processes, and consulting services that are built to guide clients through their AI transformation journey. Additionally, central to Skymod's offering is Goat, a Turkish-centric large language model that supports enterprises in developing localized AI solutions.
