Francisco is a Developer at AI World and a Data Scientist at CEPS.
He holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Concepción, Chile. His work focuses on software development, AI techniques, and optimisation to support data-driven decision-making in complex systems such as universities, schools, hospitals, and more.
At AI World, he plays an active role in the development of the platform, working across both frontend and backend components. He is primarily responsible for implementing new features in the website and creating interactive data visualisations for Data Stories. He works closely with Pierre-Alexandre Balland on the ideation and implementation of new features, with Gaia Cavaglioni on the design and implementation of new pages, and with Robert Praas on the implementation and maintenance of data pipelines.
